Gift aid
Gift Aid is a scheme that lets UK taxpayers boost their charity donations through a government scheme that lets charities claim tax relief on the donations that we receive.
If you’re a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim the basic rate of tax you’ve already paid on your donation. This means that a £1 donation is worth £1.25 to us.
If you’re a higher rate taxpayer, you can also claim back the difference between higher rate and basic rate tax on the value of your donation. For a 40% rate taxpayer, that means for every £1 you donate, you can claim back 25p in tax relief.
To claim Gift Aid on your donation, we need a completed Gift Aid declaration which can be obtained by clicking on the link below.
Sponsorship
We all know that running sponsored events can be a great way to raise money for charities like Just The Job, but did you know that you can increase the amount you raise by encouraging the people who sponsor you to use their Gift Aid entitlement?
There are lots of different challenge events to choose from. From sponsored walks to running marathons, skydives to swimming – the choice is yours!
Whatever kind of sponsored event you undertake to raise money for Just The Job, you will need a sponsorship form for whatever you decide to do and this can be obtained by clicking on the link below.
legacy
It’s a common myth that only the rich and famous leave money to charity when they die. Thankfully 74% of the UK population support charities and when asked, 35% of people say they would happily leave a gift in their will once family and friends had been provided for.
To ensure that our Work Team Members can continue to enjoy their time with us, we know that we need to build strong links with those willing to support our work. By remembering Just The Job in your will, you can help us to provide our services for many years to come.
Our promise to you is to make sure your gift will be spent in the most cost-effective way, where it is needed most.
